Oh dear April 19 2008
For anyone that came down to the show at bullet tonight… you were wonderful and patient.
After the show we realised that one of the many reasons the sound was so shit was that the sound people had decided to last minute change our bass amp (that we sound checked with) to another one, which they didn’t bother plugging in. So we couldn’t hear it on stage.
Also apparently they didn’t think that the keyboard, mandolin, saw or violin were very important – I don’t think anyone could really hear them at all… genius. Love it when you spend a whole day preparing for one half hour and it goes tits up.
Anyway, at least I got a red striped sponsored towel out of it. WOW.

No! you’re wrong. the sound may have been bad on stage but in the audience it was perfect apart from maybe the bass being a bit too loud. even though you didn’t manage to play all the songs without stopping halfway through, i think it was a better gig than the one before at the Monarch. when are you going to play Manchester!!
